Felix “xQc” Lengyel and Imane “Pokimane” Anys wanted to start the first test of their joint project in a Twitch stream on April 9. The two planned to podcast together and fans were already looking forward to the duo, but xQc seemingly forgot the date.
What happened? On April 8, both the biggest streamer on the platform, xQc, and the celebrated streamer Pokimane announced their joint stream on Saturday, April 9, on Twitter. The stream was supposed to be a trial for their podcast before they actually launched it.
Pokimane was on time and ready in her Twitch stream while she waited for xQc – but he never came. She tried to explain where her co-host was: “I think he forgot that today is Saturday. Or maybe he thought I meant next Saturday.”

xQc wrote a few hours earlier that he needed a break
xQc wrote on Twitter: “I’m taking a much-needed break today (…)” and he promised a very long stream once he got home. He seemed so excited about the “chiller” that he probably completely forgot the later appointment with Pokimane.
What did Pokimane do after being left hanging? The streamer was not angry about it and said that the trial stream could happen one or two weeks later, but there are currently many hot topics she wants to talk about (via Twitch). She mentioned the subreddit r/place as an example, where her co-host even broke his viewer record.
Will xQc remain her co-host? Pokimane is now considering whether she should possibly replace xQc and talk about current topics with another streamer. Her colleague Mizkif is in the running. No wonder, as the two already regularly host “Just-Chatting” streams where they chat about various topics.
However, Pokimane likely wants to find a temporary replacement and continue to set up the podcast with xQc. But fans are now wondering if xQc will reliably appear at the scheduled times in the future. This remains to be seen.
