During the Minecraft Mondays, Twitch streamer Ninja found out that he needs more practice in Minecraft. After just 4 games, he quit.
What kind of tournament was that? The Minecraft Monday tournament organized by Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem started on June 24 in its first week. The tournament features various well-known internet personalities like MrBeast and Ninja.
They play together to score the most points. Over 400,000 viewers tuned in at its peak. But it didn’t go well for Ninja.
Why did Ninja despair? The famous Fortnite streamer Ninja was on a team with MrBeast. Together, they found a chest on the map that seemed to be locked. “I can’t open it,” Ninja said, trying desperately to right-click to open the locked loot chest.
“That’s because there’s a block above it,” MrBeast explains. While the two players were experimenting with the chest, opponents rushed in with swords and knocked out Ninja’s team.
MrBeast asks: “Why is there a chest with a block on top of it?” Ninja explains that this is so stupid. He wouldn’t watch the rest of the game. That would have been his last round, and now he’s out.
The problem with the chest: In Minecraft, loot can be stored in chests. These can be weapons, armor, or other important items. A chest is one block high. To open it, however, the block above must also be “free” so that the lid can open upwards.
Due to the block placed above the chest, which can be seen in the video, this function is not available. Therefore, Ninja and other players simply cannot open this chest.
Will he never play Minecraft again? As Dexerto reports, Ninja and MrBeast’s team likely died early in all 4 games. KEEMSTAR tweeted a thank you to both of them. In response, Ninja said he enjoyed the tournament, but he probably needs to practice a bit more. MrBeast commented that this applies to him as well.
So Ninja probably hasn’t completely given up on his Minecraft games.
