True friendships don’t happen on the internet
What is it about? In his livestream on August 5, MontanaBlack addressed accusations from some viewers that his friends are leaving him and that he stands completely alone. The streamer did not want to let that stand.
What was the trigger? After 8 years of collaboration, MontanaBlack separated from his moderator BigMac. BigMac had made positive comments about substances in the streamer’s chat.
This is what true friendship looks like for him: MontanaBlack has known Davide, one of his best friends, since he was 6 years old. And even if the two go days without contact, it always feels like they haven’t seen each other for just a few hours.
However, viewers would get to see “only about 3%” of this friendship, as Davide has no social media presence. But even with friends who are active on social networks, it’s not always about showing off together.
We all get older. Everyone becomes a bit more independent, more mature in a certain way. More responsibility, less time. […] Just because you don’t see much of what happens, it doesn’t mean that these people are no longer in my circle of friends.

One doesn’t have to showcase themselves together in every Instagram story. Especially when not having seen each other for a long time, one would tend to put the phone away when meeting to have a proper conversation.
This is what MontanaBlack thinks of various friendships: The streamer believes it’s important to differentiate clearly. On one hand, there are friends he has known for 2 years, on the other hand, some he has known for 20 years.
While he is sad that some friendships have broken down, as they had good times, losing a friend like Davide would leave him “deeply broken,” and he would think of him every day.
He then shares a life lesson with his viewers: “Friends come and friends go, that’s just how it is.”

This is important to MontanaBlack: In a friendship, he values the interpersonal aspect. Honesty and respect come first for him. If that is not given, the friendship cannot last.
What do friendships fail over? MontanaBlack refers to a friend he has known for 28 years. While he doesn’t want to name names, he explains why some friendships really fall apart.
He lent a large sum to this friend – likely around 3000 €. He did not receive the money back and wanted to forgive the debt to the friend. However, the friend insisted on wanting to figure out a way to come up with the money and even offered to sell some of his belongings.
After the sale, however, the friend did not contact him anymore and instead spent the money on “nonsense.” Here, it wasn’t explicitly about the amount for him but rather the disrespect he felt.

How does he even get on this topic? According to MontanaBlack, there have been frequent comments that all his friends would be leaving him and that he stands all alone. It apparently particularly bothered him to hear something from people who are half his age.
It agitates me in a certain way that 16-year-olds want to tell me something about life, or rather about friendships.

MontanaBlack saw clear differences between the level of comments on various platforms. YouTube comments are more intelligent than TikTok comments. But that’s okay, because such people have to exist too.
However, these statements hurt him a little as he finds them disrespectful. After all, he has friendships that are older than some of these users.
For a time, it was really hard for him to respond to people, and he regretted that. He wants to work on that and not be the type who never reacts or shows up at events.
While MontanaBlack was discussing friendly relationships, others were airing their love lives on Twitch. There, a 17-year-old wanted to get relationship tips, but it went thoroughly wrong.
