Twitch streamer Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm inadvertently made fun of himself in a new stream. An innocently looking chat message is now amusing the internet. The message that the streamer read aloud live on Twitch referenced his own marital infidelity.
How was DrDisrespect tricked? When DrDisrespect streams on Twitch, some fans send him donations. It’s common for him to read these donations live during the stream.
A viewer took this opportunity to pull a fast one on the streamer. The fan sent an innocently looking message, but it had a hidden meaning:
“Can you welcome my friend Banks to the Champion’s Club? asks Doc’s biggest fan with a $9 donation. AY YO BANKS! Come on in, baby.”

Another donor then asked DrDisrespect to let a “Ricky” into the Champion’s Club.
The clip has now garnered over 250,000 views.
This is the situation of Ricky Banks
Why is this difficult for Doc? “Banks” refers to eSport star Ricky Banks, also known as FaZe Banks. He is the founder of the FaZe Clan, a large US eSport organization that is active in Fortnite.
What DrDisrespect probably didn’t know: Banks is currently being accused by his ex-girlfriend of cheating on her with another woman. She caught him in the guest house.
This has been publicly discussed on Twitter.
DrDisrespect admitted in 2017 to having cheated on his wife and took a break from Twitch.
Guy Beahm regretted this live in the Twitch stream, appeared without his DrDisrespect costume, and announced that he wanted to change. He said he is not the man he wants to be.
Since then, DrDisrespect has been teased by people who want to provoke him in some way about this infidelity.
It also seems to be his Achilles’ heel, as DrDisrespect repeatedly emphasizes how important the support from his wife and their daughter is to him.
If DrDisrespect now admits Banks into his “club,” he will become the “club of cheaters.”
Has this happened before? It has happened several times that DrDisrespect has been pranked in the stream exactly along these lines.
A few months ago, he read a donation from “ProJared”: Thank you for showing me how it’s done and being a mentor for me.
Also, the YouTuber ProJared made headlines in May 2019 – he allegedly cheated on his wife.
Meanwhile, it seems that everything is fine with DrDisrespect and his family. When he recently received an award as streamer of the year, his wife was in the audience.
Already at the announcement of his return to Twitch back then, DrDisrespect made fun of his own situation. He hinted that his wife punishes him for his act by holding him in a leg lock and has a knife at his throat.
What’s behind it: For DrDisrespect and many other Twitch streamers, the lines between “private person” and “public figure” seem to blur. Personal details are often revealed and publicly discussed by viewers.
A side effect of the “reality TV” aspect of live streaming. When streamers are broadcast live most of their lives, it seems hard to separate “private” from “professional”.
