The Twitch star Zack, better known as “Asmongold”, is apparently shocked by accusations against his friend the streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo. In a heated stream, he almost talks himself into trouble.
Here’s the background: On the weekend of September 16, 2022, there was major drama on Twitch. As it was revealed on Saturday, the streamer “ItsSlikeR” defrauded his viewers and other content creators of several hundred thousand euros – apparently to finance his gambling addiction.
This led to a call by Twitch stars Imane “Pokimane” Anys and Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo to ban gambling on the platform. They threatened to strike if the streaming giant did not take action. In fact, Twitch has since complied with their demands.
However, Mizkif quickly came under criticism himself. The gambling streamer Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam accused him of covering up a friend’s sexual assault. He brought to light a case from 2021.
The streamer “CrazySlick”, a friend of Mizkif, allegedly stalked and inappropriately touched the streamer Adrianah Lee at a party – he insists that he only checked her pulse. Mizkif is said to have swept this under the rug at the time.

Outburst in Stream
How does Asmongold come into play now? Asmongold and Mizkif are co-founders of the gaming organization One True King (OTK). In a now-unavailable stream, Asmongold had some clear words.
All of Asmongold’s wrath was initially directed at Slick himself. Asmongold called him a liar and a “creep” and even wished him dead – not in the game, but in real life. However, Mizkif also did not escape unscathed.
If Mizkif does not cut all contact with Slick, Asmongold said he would never speak to him again. This applies to anyone else associated with Slick as well.
As long as I don’t see any verifiable, undeniable evidence that Slick didn’t do it and wasn’t a creep – and I’m talking about real, court-certified documents – I will never speak to anyone I know who has anything to do with him again. I will literally never talk to them again.
Asmongold via Twitch
The issue apparently affected Asmongold quite a bit. He said he was “so damn angry” and didn’t care whether Slick was Mizkif’s friend. Slick had only used Mizkif, lied to him, and thus put Mizkif and Asmongold himself in this position.
Asmongold also admitted that he did not yet know how involved his colleague actually was, but he wanted to find out. Mizkif was very upset at the moment, so Asmongold wanted to give the situation some time. He would process all of this.
Suspension and Internal Investigations Against Mizkif
What’s next for OTK? The organization published a statement on Twitter on September 21. In it, they condemned sexual harassment, assault, and bigotry. OTK also stated that they had initiated an investigation by an independent legal organization.
Mizkif has since been placed on leave and is stepping back from his commitments until the results of the investigation are available.
How does the community react? Fans of OTK seem to be divided. Some feel that the response isn’t far enough. They are calling for an immediate firing of Mizkif. Others hope that the investigation can be concluded quickly and that Mizkif will be exonerated (via Twitter).
What does Mizkif say? The streamer has since released his own statement, in which he apologized to Adrianah and all victims of sexual harassment for his remarks. Sexual harassment can never be regarded as “small” regardless of the severity.
