The German streamer Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer has been criticized for some time due to his gambling content and his attitude towards queer community individuals. He seems to have had enough of this and threatens to publicly expose the alleged lies of the German Twitch scene.
What kind of statement is that? In a Twitch stream on July 9, 2023, Scurrows claimed that he has “fat folders” about German content creators and suggested that he would use the information if someone stood against him.
Thus, he wants to defend himself against alleged lies that are supposedly spread about him.

Streamer aims to tackle “falsehoods”
What is behind this? Scurrows, along with his friend streamer Kevin “Orangemorange” Bongers, had to endure a lot of criticism for their gambling content in 2022. A smoldering conflict with the Berlin content creator Tanzverbot even resulted in physical altercations.
After Twitch introduced new regulations for showing gambling on the platform in October 2022, Orangemorange and Scurrows began to complain more about “Cancel Culture”. This put them at odds with other German streamers.
Currently, there is a conflict between Scurrows and the Twitch streamer Pia “Shurjoka” Scholz. She openly accused Scurrows of transphobic content and mentioned an older accusation in this context: that Scurrows had filmed her purposely inappropriately at Gamescom in 2017 and verbally harassed her.
Scurrows intended to refute this accusation in a video, in which he showed a clip of his stream from their encounter with Shurjoka. The streamer threatened to sue everyone from “her bubble” who would spread falsehoods about him (via Twitter).

What does the current development look like? In the stream from July 9, Scurrows talked again about the ongoing conflict. He accused the German Twitch scene of “lying around” and constantly demeaning him for his statements.
You think you can get away with your […] lies. Because you always believe you’re on the safe side, you think you’re smarter.
Scurrows claimed he has “fat, fat folders” about all German Twitch streamers – even those who have nothing to do with him: “I know everything about you.” He claims to know about the private lives and conversations of the relevant individuals.
The streamer laughs and adds that he is so loud that his neighbors should know that they should never say anything against him. The message is clear: Scurrows threatens to take legal action against his critics and to publish information about them.
Scurrows warns multiple content creators
How are the reactions? On Twitter, the clip was shared multiple times. Users made a joke of adding in which situations they would give such a tirade (via Twitter). One example is embedded here:
Overall, the outburst seems strange to many. Scurrows himself mentioned in a post shortly after about “fun clips” and “idiot clips,” which seems to refer to the recordings. It seems that he now wants to imply that it was just a joke (via Twitter).
However, Scurrows apparently means his threat to take legal action seriously, as he posted three tweets on July 10 about whom he would send a warning. The streamer is targeting Twitch streamer Freiraumreh as well as YouTubers LeFloid and HerrNewstime.
Meanwhile, Twitch streamer Shurjoka has also initiated legal action against the opinion blogger Tim “KuchenTV” Heldt. It seems, then, that the conflicts of German content creators will be fought out in court in the future.
