Ninja was once the biggest streamer on Twitch when everyone was playing Fortnite. Now he has revealed how much money he made in one month back then.
How big Ninja was back then: Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was in 2018, during the peak of Fortnite, the biggest streamer on Twitch. He had an average of over 77,000 viewers and captivated Fortnite-enthusiastic gamers for over 230 million hours in front of screens (via sullygnom).
Even in December 2024, he has the channel with the most followers on the streaming platform with 19.1 million followers. Ninja is thus still almost 2 million ahead of the Spanish content creator “ibai”.
In 2024, however, Ninja streams in front of an average of only about 7,000 people. Already in 2021, he had lost 88% of his viewers.

Million-dollar salary thanks to Creator Program
How much did Ninja earn back then? Already in 2021, Ninja mentioned during a livestream that he had once made 5 million US dollars in one month with the Creator Program.
The streamer confirmed this number again in a recent stream when Twitch colleague StableRonaldo asked him what his “best” monthly income had been. However, Ninja revealed that the total earnings for that month were even higher.
“It was probably the month when I earned about 5 [million] with the creators-[program], maybe it was 6.7 [million], I think. I feel like it was 7 [million],” estimated the streamer (via X.com).
StableRonaldo, who initially asked Ninja the question, reacted in disbelief to the sum and said that Ninja was lying. When he insisted that he was telling the truth, he responded: “That’s disgusting.”
Ninja is currently streaming regularly again, as the shooter from Epic Games received many exciting new features recently. On December 11, 2024, Fortnite will also receive a new 5v5 game mode called “Ballistic,” which will be played in first-person perspective and reminiscent of tactical shooters like Counter-Strike or Valorant: Fortnite is bringing a new game mode that looks like a clone of Counter-Strike in just a few days
