The punk rock band Blink-182 and Fortnite streamer Ninja are surely no longer friends. At a concert at TwitchCon, the musicians made negative comments about Mixer, which the streamer probably took personally.

Recently, they performed at TwitchCon, the expo of the streaming giant Twitch. During the concert, lead singer Mark Hoppus said, “I just want to take a short moment and say fuck Mixer,” which was met with much applause.
Ninja reacts with concern to this statement
This is what Ninja says: In a livestream, Fortnite streamer was asked by colleague Reverse2k what he thought of Blink-182’s statement.
Ninja initially didn’t know what was meant, after all, he wasn’t at the event and preferred to complain about it from home. But once he was informed, Ninja responded personally affected by the statement.
Did they really say that? Why would they do that? That’s really toxic. […] Well, I think it’s time for me to stop listening to Blink-182.
The streamer even goes a step further and considers it a personal attack on himself. “Unintentionally, they are basically saying fuck Ninja. […] There is really no other reason for them to talk about Mixer.”
Why does he see the attack so personally? Ninja has faced a lot of criticism lately. His switch from Twitch to Mixer has been poorly received by many fans who accused him of greed.
There were even clips, that mocked Ninja’s departure. Now that Ninja is the face of Mixer, he takes many attacks against the platform personally. After all, many people know this streaming service only because of Ninja.
