Clix, the 17-year-old professional Fortnite player and Twitch streamer is banned on his streaming platform for being too suggestive in his role-playing in GTA Online. Now he finds his punishment unfair.
What happened to Clix? The controversial and arguably biggest Fortnite streamer on Twitch “Clix” received a 7-day ban on his streaming platform. He is accused of having displayed “sexual behavior” and he showcased this on Twitch.
He was only playing a GTA role-play on Twitch and engaged in sexual acts with another fully-dressed player.
These were recorded by Twitch and led to his eventual ban. The now affected streamer is understandably upset about his punishment and even claims it is unjustified. He just doesn’t understand the system.
Clix finds the ban excessive
The ban is not justified: According to Clix, the ban is excessive and he doesn’t understand how his clip could lead to him being cut off for a week. Here is the video that was responsible for his ban:
He compares another case where a female streamer went far beyond the limit: “Crazy how I get a 7-day ban for same-sex ‘sexual behavior’ while fully clothed in GTA RP, but a girl who knowingly streamed having actual sex gets the same 7-day ban as me, LOL, bro, I can’t …”
Clix doesn’t understand how it is possible that he is grouped together with other streamers who displayed worse things.
What does his community say? His fans also cannot understand the ban. Even Twitter user forpzy states: “Girls literally stream naked, painted as clothing”. They find the ban exaggerated and don’t understand why Clix was hit so hard.
Others even suggest that the Fortnite pro should switch to YouTube in the meantime to bridge his 7 days if he feels the need to stream. But knowing Clix, the ban surely won’t last that long. Through his community, he always manages to quickly wiggle out of difficulties.
So, what do you think of his punishment? Do you find it justified or did Twitch go overboard? Let us know in the comments!
