Dimitri “Greekgodx” Antonatos is one of the pioneers on Twitch and has been streaming since 2011. He has repeatedly gotten into controversies and was recently banned again because he suddenly made noises that the community found racist.
Who is the streamer?
- Greekgodx is one of the big streamers on Twitch. He averages 5,628 viewers and has managed to generate over 1.6 million followers on his channel.
- Antonatos mainly operates in the Just Chatting category, but he also streams games like Apex Legends, CoD: Warzone, or Fortnite from time to time.
- He has gained additional notoriety since he was a good buddy of the loud Tyler1 for a while and always had funny remarks ready.
- Greekgodx has now been banned from Twitch for the 2nd time within 30 days.

Greekgodx makes racist noises
What did the streamer do? In a clip, Antonatos walks past a family that is talking to each other. Suddenly, he makes noises that some interpreted as him mocking them.
Initially, it spread on Twitter that the family was of Asian descent, and the community felt that Greekgodx’s noises sounded as if he wanted to imitate them in a derogatory way.
However, it later turned out that it was a Greek family communicating in their language. Nevertheless, many saw Greekgodx’s behavior as racism and claimed that he wanted to silly imitate people of Asian descent.
“Why should I be racist to people who raised me?”
What did Greekgodx say? He was shocked by the accusations and stated that he only made the noises for fun and quite suddenly. There was no deeper meaning behind it, and he questioned what was wrong with the world if such a thing is considered racist (via Twitter).
He further stated that it was racist to speculate based on his noises that the family was of Asian descent. “My family members are Asians, why should I be racist to people who raised me,” he added (via Twitter).
Greekgodx lives in England, but he has Greek roots.
What did Twitch do? They did not hesitate and imposed a ban on the streamer. How long this ban is to last has not been revealed by either the platform or Greekgodx himself.
