In Pokémon GO there are new unofficial hints about bottle caps. They might require a lot from you.
What are bottle caps? Recently, there have been more and more hints that bottle caps could be added to Pokémon GO. These are already known from the main games and can be used to increase the IV values (Attack, Defense, HP) of your monsters.
Dataminers have now found further hints in the game indicating what you need to do with your monsters to enhance their attributes. This could turn out to be quite challenging.
Important: There is still no official information about this feature. The information comes from so-called datamining that trainers have discovered in the data of Pokémon GO.
Some tricky tasks, one year time
What has been found? In the main games, the enhancement of attributes that can be conducted with bottle caps is called Hyper Training. Various texts regarding this have now been found in Pokémon GO and summarized in a post on Reddit.
The first two texts provide hints about what requirement a monster must meet to even be able to undergo Hyper Training, as well as the maximum time available for it.
According to the datamining, your Pokémon must have at least the Buddy Rank “Good Buddy” in order to perform Hyper Training. Additionally, it seems you have a full year to successfully complete the training with your monster.
Furthermore, some texts have been found indicating that you need to complete various tasks with your Pokémon to perform Hyper Training. Below are some of the tasks that trainer aznknight613 has summarized in his image:
- Win x battles in the GO Battle League with your apprentice in the group
- Defeat x Team GO Rocket Grunts with your apprentice in the group
- Collect x candies while exploring with your apprentice
- Hatch x eggs while having your apprentice as your buddy
While some of the tasks shouldn’t pose significant problems, others could prove to be quite time-consuming or difficult.
Depending on how many candies need to be found while exploring, this task could take some time. If you have a legendary monster as your buddy, you will need to travel a whopping 20 km for each individual candy.
The battles in the Battle League could also turn out to be quite tough. If you have a monster that does not particularly shine in the Battle League, it might be quite challenging to get the necessary victories. If your monster can only compete in certain leagues like the Master League due to its CP, this could present an additional hurdle.
How high the requirements of the individual tasks will be and how many of them need to be completed is still unknown. Concrete information on this will probably only be available once the feature is officially presented.
