A few jokes have been made about the Twitch streamer Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler over the years. One of them is that he doesn’t want to say a certain word. However, his Twitch colleague has now managed to trick him.
What is that word? About 3 years ago, a clip featuring the Twitch streamer Trymacs was created, which is a sort of insider joke in the Twitch bubble. Trymacs was paired in a duo with a boy during a round of Fortnite.
The boy initially couldn’t believe that the Twitch streamer was offering him 100 euros if they won the round. Therefore, he challenged him to say “Wallah”. This is the Arabic expression for “I swear by God” (source: Duden).
However, Trymacs refused, which led to the insider joke that Trymacs should say the word. Now, a Twitch colleague has managed to get him to do it.
“And with that, we’ve got it!”
Why is Trymacs saying the word now? The Twitch streamers Trymacs, Sascha “unsympathischTV” Hellinger, and Florian “Varion” Kiesow are currently on a live tour with their podcast Offline + Ehrlich. During this, unsympathischTV also filmed vlogs.
Earlier, unsympathischTV annoyed Trymacs by repeatedly asking if he could say “Wallah”. Trymacs declined, which is why his Twitch colleague came up with another strategy.
One morning, unsympathischTV came to him and asked Trymacs if he could please recite his self-written poem. Trymacs initially hesitated as he had just woken up but eventually agreed.
At the end of the poem came the line “My notary is at the new Wall A”, which caused Trymacs to accidentally say the word. UnsympathischTV then rejoiced over his successful trick and said to the camera: “And with that, we’ve got it! Good morning, friends!” (source: YouTube from minute 09:19).
The joke surrounding the word “Wallah” is not the only clip that Trymacs has been haunted by for years. The background of the so-called “Cola clip” was explained by Trymacs some time ago.
