In 7 vs. Wild, the teams had little to eat for 14 days. After the elimination of Trymacs and Rumathra, they made up for what they had missed in the last 10 days.
Why was the team in camp? The team of Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler (29) and Wieland “Rumathra” Welte (27) left the survival show because they had run out of drinking water. You can find out more about the exact reasons for their exit here.
In the latest episode of the 7 vs. Wild “Making-of” format “Behind the Scenes”, you can see the team arriving at camp. The team must have been really hungry after they had found hardly anything edible for 10 days. Even the vegetable broth they had cannot replace full meals.
One of the participants of Season 3 is the Twitch streamer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla. You can see more about him in our video.
The participants ignore the doctors’ warning
What were the doctors warning about? The doctors warned the team not to eat too much. According to their statements, this could lead to constipation, diarrhea, and stomach cramps.
However, the team’s hunger seemed insatiable. Initially, there was a small meal that should have sufficed for the participants, but the doctors probably underestimated the participants’ hunger, as it appeared to be unbridled.
What else did the participants eat? After the small meal, the participants were still hungry. Despite medical advice, there were initially chocolate bars and a coffee, followed by a pack of chips for Trymacs.
While Rumathra initially didn’t consume anything more in the video, Trymacs really dove in. He was brought a huge bowl of rice, and there were also different main dishes for dinner.
Even after the meal, Trymacs seemed to have still been hungry. The Twitch streamer and his teammate showed a member of the production their vegetable broth powder that they had been eating over the days. Apparently, it smelled so bad that Trymacs didn’t even want to smell it, while he ate another chocolate bar.
Did the participants have problems after eating? Whether the participants had problems after eating is not known. However, in scenes the next day, they seemed cheerful and lively. In their hotel room, they were surprised by the other eliminated participants who were hiding in the closets.
In the following days, while the other teams were still out in the wild, the eliminated participants had all sorts of fun with recreational activities in Canada. They especially thrived on the golf course.
