In Destiny 2 , the YouTuber Ehroar has created a clever solo build that can be played in PvE with Hunter, Titan, and Warlock. It is based on the synergy of 4 mods and the use of powerful special weapons like The Question or Perfect Paradox. This should make the current Season 9 fun if you’re looking for variety.
What is the main idea of this build? The YouTuber Ehroar has essentially found a mod combination that supports each other and allows for a new gameplay experience in Season 9 of Destiny 2. The new build relies on mods, which came to Destiny 2 with the obelisks.
The goal is to generate as much special ammo as possible so that you never have to use your primary weapon. Additionally, a permanent damage buff should be active.
This results in a rather bombastic playstyle, achieving high DPS values and blasting through hordes of enemies without having to throw grenades or rely on abilities. You shoot with a fusion rifle or shotgun at mid and close range, taking down everything that comes in your way.
Shotgun and Fusion Rifle – a deadly combination
These are the 2 weapons for the build: The weapons are not that incredibly important: It is only essential that you have either a shotgun or a fusion rifle in the first two slots.
Ehroar uses in his showcase build:
- The Question – the fusion rifle from Season 5 with Auto-Loader Mod and Magazine Reserves
- Perfect Paradox – a legendary shotgun from Season 9 with the perks Demolisher and Trench Barrel
- As a heavy weapon, then perhaps the “Tractor Cannon”
These are the 4 mods: The first 3 mods revolve around “Charged with Light”, a buff. It should preferably be always active:
- Quick Charge – the mod ensures that you become charged with light
- Stacks on Stacks – the mod allows you to continue collecting this charge
- High-Energy Fire – the mod gives you a damage bonus as long as you are charged with light
The buff “Charged with Light” relies on the obelisks from Season 9 and will probably get even more interesting as the season progresses with additional mods coming in.
The 4th mod in this Destiny 2 build is responsible for always having enough special ammo available:
- Heavy Handed – gives players ammo when they get a kill with a fusion rifle, shotgun, sidearm, or submachine gun while fighting 2 or more enemies.
The catch here is that a kill not only fills the weapon used to get the kill but also the second one. Since you can kill more than one enemy with a fusion rifle with a single shot, you can generate 4 special ammo with one shot.
What is this build suitable for? The build is ideal for simply blasting through content where you gather many kills, so for most “normal” PvE activities in Destiny 2, aside from raids.
It is a fun build for people who want to run through Destiny 2 relaxed and with a lot of damage.
