In Fortnite: Battle Royale, players curse the overly powerful turret. However, one player has shown how to completely counter the turret unarmed and literally “hits”.
What’s so bad about the turret? Hardly any item has been hated in Fortnite more than the turret. This is because the turret deals enormous damage, has infinite ammunition, and provides good cover for the shooter from the front. Therefore, Epic has nerfed it multiple times and is planning further adjustments.
An opponent who has entrenched themselves in the turret is clearly at an advantage in a fight. Especially in solo mode, where teammates cannot come to the flanks to help.
Player hacks turret
So anyone who encounters a turret usually has their days numbered. Especially when the turret is found in the first seconds of a game and the opponent swings right in. This happened in a match where several players landed on the roof of the hotel in Paradise Palms.
Axe against turret: There was a turret lying around and the lucky first player immediately built the gun. He swung in and looked forward to easy kill-farming, as his later landing opponents hadn’t even found a weapon and faced the high-tech turret with basic pickaxes. A fight in Fortnite couldn’t be more uneven!
The weak point of the turret: But what happened next is something the turret player will probably never forget. Because the player right after him simply didn’t want to die and bounced around him like a mad rubber ball. In the end, he jumped directly onto the turret and could no longer be reached by the deadly weapon. Instead, he hacked as much as he could.
A not-so-easy trick: After a few hits with the axe, the turret shooter was history and the axe hero could use the turret himself. However, the trick with the turret is probably not as easy as it seemed.
A new player trying to do the same came running too directly and was blasted to pieces by the new turret owner.
