It’s time: The unofficial successor to Ragnarok Online – Tree of Savior – has now officially launched in Europe!
From now on, you can download the game for free via Steam and dive right into the adventures. In the in-game shop, so-called TP packages will be available for real money. You can use TP in the game to purchase tokens. These grant you certain bonuses such as increased EXP, increased movement speed, more buffs, more gestures, and the ability to trade with other players.
The developers want to keep a close eye on the server population to react quickly when a new server is needed. For example, a new South East Asian server was recently launched with Varena. The game’s launch has led to a tripling of the player count.
The New Ragnarok
Tree of Savior can be compared to the MMO classic Ragnarok Online. From an isometric perspective, you control your anime character through colorful, hand-drawn landscapes and fight alongside your friends against legions of enemies. You can choose from a total of 80 classes with seven ranks, allowing you to create a unique hero. Some classes will only be available to you if you meet certain requirements. In the many areas and dungeons, you will also face 200 boss monsters.
In an arena, you can engage in PvP battles against other players or participate in guild wars, which can take place in open fields or even in dungeons. Even low-level heroes can join large raids, and through the matchmaking system, you’ll always find a suitable party.
