A Twitch streamer was playing Pokémon GO and was then robbed live during the broadcast. His phone and car were stolen.
What kind of stream was that? The 23-year-old Twitch streamer xDeezzNutzx broadcast his session in Pokémon GO live on Thursday, October 8th. As indicated by his stream title, the streamer was outside in search of Shinies – rare forms of Pokémon in this mobile game. In order to play Pokémon GO, one must go into the “real world” to catch many monsters.
But suddenly, his livestream was interrupted when he was apparently robbed.
How the robbery went down
How was the streamer robbed? As the streamer was about to catch a Glibunkel, which is currently appearing with a trendy hat due to a fashion event, the robbery took place.
Although it is not visible on the video, the microphone on the streamer’s phone recorded the events. One first hears a sound that resembles a push. Then a “Woah, man I’m live” from the streamer’s mouth. “I have nothing,” says the 23-year-old to the stranger.
The alleged thief then presumably takes his phone away, as his voice becomes clearly audible. He says, “What’s wrong with you?”
Later, several voices can be heard in the livestream, as the phone continued running with the Twitch stream. Although only a black screen is visible, one can hear what the strangers are planning. “We have his vape, his car keys. Come on, let’s take his car”
“Was he live?” “Why does he have so many portable chargers here?”
Not the first case: Streaming Pokémon GO usually requires entertainers to venture into the real world. Although during the Corona period there is the option to play better from home, one finds more raids and Pokémon while on the move.

But it doesn’t always have to end badly and with the police. A neighbor first called the police on Pokémon GO trainers and then sweetly apologized.
