A trainer on Reddit reported that he wanted to use the Master Ball to catch one of the rare Galar birds in Pokémon GO – but surprisingly, that went wrong. However, the community knows where the problem lies.
Gadget causes annoying error
What did the trainer do? As seen in his video on Reddit, he encountered a Galar Articuno. He really wanted to catch it, so he decided to use a Master Ball and threw it at the Articuno.
Instead of the usual animation for using the ball, his Master Ball remained suspended in the air. After a few seconds, the trainer was thrown out of the catch screen and Pokémon GO displayed the error message “The Pokémon could not be found. (25)”.

Where lies the problem? While the trainer is frustrated about the problem, there are several comments under his post that know exactly how the problem occurred. This is due to the official gadget GO+, which comes in 2 variants.
However, both variants serve the same purpose: With this gadget, you can automatically catch Pokémon and spin PokéStops in the game. And exactly during this process, according to the community, a problem can occur.
So nsb27 describes in the Reddit post that the GO+ was already in the process of catching the Articuno. Normally, in this case, the monster should not be displayed on the map for the trainer anymore. However, in some cases, this still happens.
This is the reason why the trainer could no longer catch the monster and the catch screen ended with the message that no Pokémon can be found.

Once the incense has expired, you can reactivate your gadget and use it for automatic catching.
