The shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lll promises more in the current gameplay trailer than it actually shows. Although the trailer presents itself cinematically appealing, fans are disappointed by the little gameplay that we get to see.
When does the new Call of Duty come out in 2023? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare lll will be released on November 10, 2023 for PC, PS4/5, and Xbox. However, the pre-order is already available through the official website and also grants you access to the beta once it starts.
What does the trailer show? Overall, the trailer is a collection of exciting video sequences. You get to see some combat scenes, but most are not taken from the gameplay.
At first, you notice the areas that are shown in short segments. Starting with a heavily guarded fortress by the water, we scale up to modern factory facilities.
Underneath a thick layer of ice, you will see a large underwater explosion in the trailer. It also seems that a few battles are taking place underwater, as hinted by a few seconds of the trailer.
In the video description, the developers promise that among the maps that COD Modern Warfare 3 starts with, there will also be iconic multiplayer maps and the largest zombie map to date.
What stands out? It is interesting that the trailer is announced as a gameplay trailer, as there is the least actual gameplay shown.
In the comment section (via Youtube), users’ disappointment is made quite clear in some biting and humorous comments.
What does the gameplay show? What the smaller gameplay clips promise are many stealth missions, sending allies around, placing explosives, descending on ropes, and a few dives. You really don’t get to see much more so far.
