For those who want to participate in the Tour themselves, the new cycling manager “Le Tour de France 2016” allows you to hop on your virtual bike. This manager comes with fresh multiplayer features for PC.
The new features of Le Tour de France 2016 compared to 2015
In this game you become the manager of a professional cycling team. You participate in over 200 cycling events with 550 stages worldwide, including the Tour de France 2016.
As a manager, you handle all aspects of your team: recruitment, contract negotiations with riders and sponsors, personnel management, training – and even during the race, you must make important decisions in real time.

In the multiplayer of “Tour de France 2016” you create your own competitions and races according to your own rules, with leaderboards and co-op modes. You can share self-created stages through the Steam Workshop and compete against players from around the world. You can also create entire tournaments according to your preferences that take place over several days on a particular date.
Together with your friends, you can pedal for the same team online and achieve victory together. This co-op mode allows for various tactical approaches. It is also possible to compete against friends or other players – if you don’t want to collaborate.
An exciting addition to the multiplayer mode is the “Pro Mode”: Here you not only act as a manager but also play as a rider. You have complex relationships with your teammates. Your goal is to become the undisputed leader of the team.
Furthermore, the cycling manager returns with graphical improvements, toensure more realism. The backgrounds are more detailed, the animations are smoother, and the interface has been redesigned. Additionally, the AI has been adjusted: Players “think” not only from stage to stage but also pursue long-term goals. The career mode has also been revised: The mission goal system has received an overhaul.
Since mid-June, the manager “Tour de France 2016” has been available for PC (among others through Amazon). For PS4 and Xbox One, there is the “action racing game” variant, which places even more focus on the race itself.
