You have currently been plagued by countless bots and bugs and barely had time to catch your breath? This was due to a patch that Helldivers 2 released some time ago. This caused nightmarish conditions on the battlefield, but that should change soon.
What were players struggling with? In Helldivers 2, Arrowhead implemented a significant change with update 01.000.300. It was about the enemy patrols and how they function. The developers had a non-linear scaling of enemy intensity and patrols when you got caught by them before their drastic changes.
This was changed so that even solo players or smaller groups among you would face enough enemies. Despite a promising announcement, the change is currently causing frustration among players.
The Helldivers are literally overwhelmed by hordes of enemies, and relaxed gameplay is no longer possible. For this reason, the developers have come together again and compiled a solution that you might like.

The patch is being reverted, but that takes time
What has Arrowhead revealed? One of the community managers, “Twinbeard,” has spoken out on Reddit and Discord regarding the patrols. The developers are aware that teams and solo players are suffering from the enemy change and want to revert their patch change. The following was communicated:
Helldiver!
As many of you have noticed, something has been off with the patrols and the spawn rate for some time now. This primarily leads to more enemies raising their ugly heads than they should, which indirectly causes players to feel overwhelmed, go astray, and thus have less fun with gameplay.
This has been the case for all players, but especially for smaller teams and solo players. We were aware of this, but honestly, the last few weeks have been so hectic that we couldn’t give it the necessary care.
That is now the case, and we have concluded that it is not working as intended, and we will change it. There may be a few minor adjustments, but overall we are reverting to the functioning of patrols and spawn rates before the patch that changed them a few weeks ago. […]

Furthermore, it is said that the team is currently looking at the problem and preparing the change. However, the developers do not want to rush anything and want to do everything right this time. For this reason, the upcoming fix will take a little longer.
Arrowhead wants to thoroughly check the change before unleashing something on their fans again that could cause further problems. So it’s still unknown when the patch will be released.
What do you think of the upcoming change? Would you have preferred a patch much earlier or do you want a clean fix without further bugs? Let us know in the comments! A new mission briefing is meanwhile surprising the community.
