In Pokémon GO a new event themed “Family” starts tonight. We provide an overview of bonuses, Pokémon, and the times.
What kind of event is this? This event was announced together with other events for November. It is the last event this month and brings very special spawns.
Family Pokémon are the focus here, and friendships receive special bonuses.
Family Event in Pokémon GO – All Information
How long does the event last? The bonuses start tonight, November 27th at 10 PM. You only have 5 days to take advantage of these bonuses. It will end again on December 2nd at 10 PM.
What bonuses are available? Family and friendship are the focus here. Accordingly, there are the following bonuses:
- Pokémon like Nidoran and other family-themed monsters appear in the wild and in quests
- You can make two special trades per day
- Trading Pokémon costs only half the required Stardust
- Friendship levels are significantly more effective in raids
What is known about the spawns? The theme “Family” can be broad. The two forms of Nidoran are likely to be at the center, and the search for a Shiny can begin.
Otherwise, baby Pokémon would fit well into this theme. However, these do not actually spawn in the wild. Therefore, one might see many evolutions of the baby Pokémon. This is just a speculation from some players.
By 10 PM tonight at the latest, we will know more. We will publish a list of the increased spawns tomorrow morning on MeinMMO.
What changes for you in raids: A better bonus at friendship level in raids means that raids can be completed more easily. This could allow you to defeat Terrakion without much difficulty with two players. How strong the bonus will ultimately be remains to be seen.
Why you should trade: Especially the two special trades are interesting. Ideally, you should make these every day during the event, as a legendary Pokémon as a lucky Pokémon is definitely worthwhile. It may have better IV and is usable in battles.
Just as well, you can also complete 2 lucky trades on one day without limiting yourself to specific Pokémon. You can find out which monsters are suitable for a trade in our special on lucky trades.
