In Pokémon GO starts tomorrow, on January 12, the big Sinnoh Event. It focuses on the monsters of the 4th generation. We show you the bonuses and new Shinies.
When does the Sinnoh Event run? It starts on January 12 at 10:00 AM. The event runs for 5 days and ends on January 17 at 8:00 PM local time.
The event revolves around the 4th generation. After the Einall Event, it is the second event that is meant to prepare for the Kanto Tour taking place in February.
All info about the Sinnoh Event in Pokémon GO
These are the bonuses: The bonuses also focus on Pokémon from the 4th generation. So there are:
- Chelast, Panflam, Plinfa, Bidiza, Koknodon, Schilterus, Wadribie, Bamelin, Driftlon, Charmian, Shnurgarst, Hippopotas, Pionskora and Shnebedeck appear more frequently in the wild
- Shiny Bamelin appears for the first time in Pokémon GO
- In raids, quests and eggs you will find Pokémon from the 4th generation – among them Kaumalat in the raids
- Heatran appears in level-5 raids and can be caught as shiny
- There is a new collector challenge for stardust, ultra balls, and a magnet module
What spawns are interesting? Especially interesting is Bamelin. This is the new shiny being introduced through the event.
With the 3 starters, Driftlon, Hippopotas, Pionskora and Shnebedeck there are also more Pokémon that can be shiny. Koknodon is also expected to appear more frequently. Its evolution Rameidon is the best rock attacker in Pokémon GO.
This is how events will continue: After the Sinnoh event, we can expect an event focused on the Hoenn region, which is the 3rd generation. The event is supposed to take place from January 19 to January 24. However, there are no further details about it yet.
