How to get Watch Dogs 2 for free: You don’t have to do much to get Watch Dogs 2 for free on PC. The most important thing is the right timing:
Between 9 PM and 9:45 PM the game is available for free. You have 45 minutes to claim it.
You can get the game directly in the Uplay launcher as well as directly in the Ubisoft stream .
You can only get the game during the specified time for PC and need a Uplay account to claim it.
It is quite possible that the Uplay server will crash under the surge of free requests. So have some patience if it doesn’t work immediately.
Ubisoft stated in the official forum and on Facebook explaining that everyone will receive their free code for Watch Dogs 2 if they tried to log in. Ubisoft writes: “Don’t worry! We will also distribute the gifts to you even if you couldn’t log in successfully. Sit back and enjoy the show.”
Is there more for free? Ubisoft had stated that there would be other in-game bonuses for various Ubisoft games during the stream. So it’s definitely worth checking out the stream if you own a current Ubisoft title.
