What’s exciting today: Currently, Season 10 is coming to an end and last weekend, a spectacular finale took place. Now we’re heading full steam into a new chapter of Destiny 2, and we already know how it will look today.
Because today, on June 09, Bungie is hosting a highly anticipated reveal stream. There, the Destiny developer wants to reveal more about the future of the game.
It is expected that it will be about much more than just the next season. Clues from Bungie’s TWaB suggest that the reveal will cover the major autumn expansion or possibly even further beyond – we may learn more about Year 4.
When does it start? The reveal will take place this evening on the stream. At 6 PM German time it will happen. Then you can see on these platforms what the future of Destiny 2 looks like:

The new Season 11 will start on June 09 with an update.
What we know about the new season: Immediately after the reveal stream, Season 11 will start and will smoothly take over the Season of Worthy. There is virtually no confirmed information about content, activities, or the setting.
Only the name of the season was probably revealed by mistake: “Season of Arrival”.
From the name, we can infer that the impending darkness will actually arrive in Season 11. So far, the Guardians can watch week by week as the threatening pyramid fleet gets closer. A recently released cutscene even reveals that the darkness has reached Jupiter.
A major update is on the way today: In order to start the new season and explore what exactly is arriving, you need to download the update 2.9.0. Additionally, server maintenance and downtime are on the schedule.
