On November 14, Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starts and, alongside new weapons, modes, and maps, it also brings the integration of Warzone. To ensure you can get started optimally right from day one, we present to you 4 weapons that we believe could be a strong choice in Battle Royale.

In Warzone, it can make sense to combine a weapon for longer distances, such as an assault rifle or a DMR, with a weapon for shorter distances, or to carry an all-rounder for both distances. Therefore, we present you 4 weapons to choose from: 2 assault rifles, an SMG, and a DMR.

AEK-973
What makes the weapon so strong? The AEK is classified as a DMR in Black Ops 6 and is therefore strong at longer distances. However, since the AEK fires in 3-shot bursts and receives a higher fire rate with the fire modification “Rapid Fire,” it performs very well at both medium and short distances.

Although the AEK has been slightly nerfed with the patch for Season 1, it could still perform strongly.
XM4
What makes the weapon so strong? The XM4 is the all-rounder among assault rifles. It is a reliable companion and can perform well at both short and long distances, which is why it has held a steady place in the meta since the release of Black Ops 6.

PP-919
What makes the weapon so strong? The greatest strength of the PP-919 is its enormous magazine, which holds 64 shots even without an extension. Additionally, the “Bison” has good range, where it deals maximum damage, and very little recoil. Once you have leveled the weapon a bit, you can equip the “Fast Magazine” to improve aiming time and reload speed at the cost of magazine size.
Model L
What makes the weapon so strong? The Model L has a relatively low fire rate, but it deals quite a bit of damage. Moreover, the assault rifle has almost no recoil. Currently, it is considered the best assault rifle in Black Ops 6 and is expected to be a strong choice for gunfights at medium to long distances in Warzone as well.
