What is Battlerite Royale? Behind this name is a battle royale spin-off of Battlerite. The original game Battlerite is a colorful arena brawler. This refers to a game that utilizes the fast-paced real-time combat and skill shots of a MOBA but focuses solely on the fights.
How does the gameplay work? Battlerite Royale features 20 heroes from Battlerite, each with their gameplay, on a large island. There, in typical battle royale fashion, all 20 players will battle until only one remains.
The map is 30 times larger than the small arenas you usually play in. Alternatively, you can compete in duo teams. That means a total of ten pairs will be in play.
Different from Fortnite and Co.
What distinguishes Battlerite Royale from other BR games?
- There are only 20 players instead of the usual 100 in the genre
- You control your heroes using the WASD keys from a top-down perspective, aiming your skill shots with the mouse.
- Each of your heroes has their own skills, strengths, and weaknesses
- Your heroes start the game armed, but lack skills and better equipment bonuses.
You must search for better gear and additional skills inside colorful orbs. - There are items that temporarily transform you into huge monsters. Then you are particularly deadly to your enemies.
