This was HandofBlood’s reaction: “Max ‘HandofBlood’ Knabe is one of the largest and most popular streamers in Germany.
He expressed on Twitter that he is “overwhelmed”, says he is not a political expert, cannot contribute anything substantial, and advises his fans to take a break from social media, to seek conversation, to express themselves, and not to get too caught up.
He will provide an opportunity on his channels to escape reality, wants to offer escapism for anyone looking to distract themselves. He sees this as his job.
His LoL team, Eintracht Spandau, issued a statement: In light of the Russian army’s attack on Ukraine, they wish to refrain from the “typically silly intensity and provocative harshness”. They are with their thoughts for the innocent victims that a war like this leaves behind.
This was the response from the Rocket Beans: The streaming group had actually planned a live stream for Thursday evening on “Warhammer Total War”, which they decided to cancel “due to current events”.

Donation streams from Shurjoka and Kalle Koschinsky
This was Surjoka’s reaction: The streamer from Berlin actually wanted to celebrate her 7-year anniversary as a Twitch partner on February 24, but instead used the stream to collect donations for the crisis area in Ukraine. In numerous tweets and in her Twitch stream, the streamer deals with the conflict.
This is Kalle Koschinsky’s reaction: The streamer Kalle Koschinsky is seeking a middle ground of distraction and endurance. He will host a live stream for the crisis area today at 8:00 PM, but will try to intentionally avoid bringing up the topic to provide a safe space.

Unge would like to offer distraction – but cannot
This was Papaplatte’s reaction: The currently popular Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller wrote on February 24, “a little distraction from the horrific news today.”
This was SimonUnge’s reaction: Unge wrote that he would like to offer the viewers some distraction, but is currently unable to distract himself and does not want to.
