A retiree regularly goes out to Pokémon GO to do something for her health. She is equipped with a quite interesting setup.
Most activities in Pokémon GO require one important thing to participate efficiently: movement. Whether it’s to encounter as many monsters as possible, visit gyms and PokéStops, or hatch eggs.
A 72-year-old retiree is also regularly involved in Pokémon GO to engage in these activities. And she is not just using one smartphone – but six. For this, she has created a special device to manage all smartphones simultaneously.
A retiree, a device, 6 phones
Why does the retiree play? According to her own statement, her son told her about the game’s release and installed it on her smartphone. This was supposed to help her implement a doctor’s recommendation better: more movement.
The retiree, who previously worked as a music teacher in elementary school, has taken a liking to the game. So much so that she now plays on 6 smartphones simultaneously.
She does this to counteract the shorter wait times in the game – for example, after throwing a Pokéball and waiting to see if the monster was caught. While the Pokéball is shaking on one smartphone, she catches the next Pokémon on another smartphone in the meantime.
What kind of device is that? To avoid problems managing 6 smartphones while on the go, she has created her own small device. It consists of a wooden board on which all 6 smartphones can be plugged into appropriate cases.
She hangs this wooden board around her neck using a strap, which is also attached to the board. This way, she has the device in front of her and can efficiently manage all 6 smartphones.

How advanced are the retiree’s accounts? How far along the accounts are and how strong the retiree’s monsters are is unknown. In another video from WDR, notes can be seen on her wooden board indicating that she has accounts in different teams in Pokémon GO.
Additionally, on 2 of her smartphones, the levels of the corresponding accounts are visible: 48 and 49. The trainer should not have any problems completing more difficult raids in the game.
