Here are a few excerpts from the reviews and their ratings:
Gamespot: “The game is a fantastic sequel, and its single-player mode adds more dynamics with each mission. The multiplayer mode has received minor changes that make the game a smoothly running shooter with intelligent gameplay.” In the review, Gamespot gave 9 out of 10 points.
TheSixthAxis: “The single-player mode, with its open combat areas, stealth options, and wall-running, sometimes feels more like an action-adventure than a traditional FPS campaign. The multiplayer enhances the already fantastic game. Titanfall 2 is as stimulating and refreshing as the original game was in 2014.” TheSixthAxis gave 9 out of 10 points in the review.
IGN: “In the 6-hour campaign, every level felt big enough to sprint or run along walls. The levels are also so well organized that you won’t get lost. New mechanics are continuously introduced, ranging from small expansions to completely new puzzle elements.” IGN is still extensively testing the multiplayer mode before they issue a review verdict.
GameInformer: “At a time when most shooters either have a single-player or multiplayer mode, Titanfall 2 is the complete package. For fans of first-person shooters, Titanfall 2 is a must-have.” GameInformer gave the game 9.5 out of 10 points in the review.
