Today the Live Fire update for Titanfall 2 is released, and you can try its contents with an EP bonus!
The Live Fire update has been a hot topic in the Titanfall 2 community for several days. This update introduces a new game mode exclusively for pilots – Titans are excluded from this mode. Additionally, the update fixes some issues and brings balance changes. Due to new bugs, there were delays in the release. However, as the developers have now announced, Live Fire will be released today.
Live Fire Game Mode Today
The upcoming update for Titanfall 2 was announced by the developers back in January. The new, fast-paced game mode Live Fire is designed to refresh the players’ experience. This mode comes with two suitable maps that are optimized for fast, deadly gameplay. A round lasts a maximum of 60 seconds and is played with two teams of six players each.
In addition to the new game mode and the associated maps, the update includes:
- Featured playlists – Each week, this playlist features game modes with possible double EP events
- New execution – Inspired by the Stim, “Last Hit” delivers a solid punch and appears alongside other executions in the customization options for pilots.
- Another Coliseum map – Dive into the brand new Columns map for a fresh take on close combat,.
- Mixtape player search – Create your own mixtapes with game modes
- Balance changes

From Thursday (February 23) to Monday (February 27), there will be a double EP weekend in Titanfall 2. This bonus EP will only be available for games in the new Live Fire mode.
