A collaboration with Multiplay has been announced for Titanfall 2. This is intended to ensure a stable online experience.
The developer studio Respawn Entertainment, which is behind Titanfall 2, recently revealed the partnership with Multiplay. As a result, numerous servers worldwide are available for the first-person shooter, providing minimal latency and based on Multiplay’s “Cloud-Bursting Tech”.
These game services are part of a global network of dedicated server providers. Major cloud providers like Google Compute Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services are also being used.
“It is important that the game just works”
According to lead programmer Jon Shiring, the launch of Titanfall 2 will be bigger and better than that of its predecessor. For him, it is very important that the game just works.
Therefore, they teamed up with Multiplay, as they provide “an insane amount of scalability and reliability.” Multiple clouds and “bare-metal servers” are to be available in all regions where Titanfall 2 is sold.
For the launch on October 28, 2016, powerful dedicated servers, minimal latency, and maximum capacity are to be available in this way.
Titanfall 2 will be released on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
