What exactly is going on with Tilted Towers? Shortly after the Update 8.5 on April 25, 2019, strange glitches occurred at Tilted Towers and Retail Row. The textures failed to load, and the whole area looked broken and unfinished.
What has been done? Epic reacted quickly because the third round of the World Cup qualifiers is taking place over the weekend. Such weird bugs are not useful. According to Epic, the issue seems to have been resolved already.
So, there’s nothing here that would really make headlines. However, the glitch could hint at something big happening in Fortnite soon.
Is Epic planning the destruction of Tilted Towers and Retail in real-time?
According to a credible leak, Tilted Towers and Retail Row will soon be history. There are supposed to be graphics in the game showing the state of the locality after its end. There, Tilted and Retail are just ash-covered ruins.
The reason for the end is said to be the volcano, which is likely to erupt once all 5 runes are activated in the new bunker in Loot Lake during the end-of-season event.
