The servers in Throne and Liberty give no indication of which has the most German players. However, the communities have already decided. We will reveal which server is likely the best fit for you.
What servers are there? The developers of Throne and Liberty have already revealed that there will be eight servers available at launch in early access in Europe. The servers will be named as follows:
- Lightbringer
- Kazar
- Conquest
- Ember
- Zenith
- Talus
- Wraith
- Bellandir
In addition to the eight servers, three more servers will open over the weekend and on Monday. The three servers will be named:
- Ezekiel
- Quillix
- Lycan
There is no exact date for the openings. The developers at Amazon Game Studios are observing the load and will then decide when the right time is.

This is where Germans play
Which will be the German server? There probably won’t be a proper German server where all German players meet. For that, the developers would have to name one of the servers DE-1 or something similar. However, the German-speaking communities and guilds have coordinated in advance and decided to go to the Wraith server.
On the unofficial German community Discord server, over 10 guilds and alliances as well as other groups have expressed their interest in Wraith. In second place is the Tallus server, where some German-speaking guilds also want to play.
All other servers currently do not seem to be a consideration for the German community. Some German streamers have also reportedly announced they will play on Wraith.
What about PlayStation? Those who play Throne and Liberty on PlayStation have, in addition to the regular servers, also a server that is available only to other PlayStation players. There, the game will likely be relatively free of bots and cheaters, but not many players will probably speak German.
German server also for free players
What about one of the free servers? Those who do not want to spend money on Throne and Liberty can start on a fresh server on Tuesday. There, everyone will be at the same level. However, there is still no clear German server among those starting on Monday.
According to the announcement from the developers, all free players can also play on the servers that are available for early access (via playthroneandliberty.com). So you can also start on the Wraith server as a free player on Tuesday.
If you are not satisfied with your server choice, you don’t have to start over right away. Until October 17, you have the opportunity to change servers for free twice a day. But be careful: If you downgrade from a server that is full, you may not be able to return to that one. So make sure that you really don’t want to play on your server anymore before switching.
Whether the planned servers will be sufficient to handle the influx for the new MMORPG remains to be seen. However, that Amazon already has names for the additional servers is probably a good sign.
