In the southeast of the map of Throne and Liberty lies Saurodoma Island. However, there are some things to consider in order to unlock the waypoint.
What are the prerequisites? To get to Saurodoma Island, it’s worth unlocking the waypoint to the island. From there, you can easily and quickly access anywhere on the island and into the open-world dungeon.
The waypoint for Saurodoma Island can only be unlocked if your server has already unlocked the milestone “Unbroken Hatred.” To check this, you can open the menu and click on the milestone option.

How to unlock the waypoint
To unlock the waypoint of Saurodoma Island, you first need to get there. The waypoint is located on a kind of tower and can only be reached by flying from the Gigantrit, the large flying whale.
To reach the whale, you need to fly to it from an elevated point. On the following map, you can see the points from which this works well:
In red, you see the possible starting points on the image. In light blue, we marked the destination, the waypoint on Saurodoma Island. For all red points, you should try to get as high up as possible.
- At the Reinlicht Tower, you can run up the stairs to the very top and fly off to the whale from the peak.
- At the ruins of the Starlight Observatory, you should pull yourself up to the highest point of the ruins using hooks.
- At the ruins of the Titan Lair, you should climb the outer wall and fly off to the whale from the highest tower.
What happens once you’re on the whale? Once you’re on the whale, you’ve really done the hardest part. Now you just need to wait a while until the creature flies towards the coast of Saurodoma Island. Tip: Use the opportunity to farm ores that grow on the back of the whale.
As soon as you’re over the island with the whale, you should see a green plateau from above. That’s where the waypoint is located. If you still have trouble seeing it, you can also create a waypoint by right-clicking on the map.
Once you arrive, you just need to activate the waypoint. From now on, you can teleport there anytime. The island has an open-world dungeon that promises good loot.
