What are Abyss Contract Marks and how do I get them? Abyss Contract Marks are very important for receiving rewards in open-world dungeons. If you don’t have any marks left, you won’t receive any loot from monsters, Sollant, or experience points.
There are many ways to earn Abyss Contract Marks. You can pick up your daily tasks from the “Contract Manager” there Abyss Contract Marks are offered as a reward. You can also loot the sought-after currency from coop dungeons. We have listed all the possibilities for you to obtain the marks.

What are Abyss Contract Marks?
Abyss Contract Marks are a currency in Throne and Liberty. They are always displayed in the top right corner of your screen. When you hover your mouse over them, you can see how many you can save up. The maximum is 20,000 Abyss Contract Marks. Anything you gain beyond that is wasted.
Redeeming Abyss Contract Marks
You cannot actively spend the marks; they are consumed automatically when you defeat monsters in open-world dungeons.
As soon as you defeat a monster, you have a chance that it drops an item. The monsters have different levels and thus provide you with different loot. When an item drops, you consume your Abyss Contract Marks at that moment. Even when you receive Sollant or experience points, the amount of your marks decreases.
But beware: You can only receive loot if the monster belongs to you or your group. If a stranger deals the first blow to the monster, the creature’s health bar will turn gray, and it belongs to the attacker. If you participate in the fight of the stranger, you won’t receive any loot.
Also, note that in open-world dungeons at night, PvP is activated, and therefore not only the creatures can attack you but also other players. You can read the time in the bottom right corner of the world map or in the top left of the minimap. Additionally, two crossed red swords are depicted at the dungeon when PvP is active.
What can you get from Abyss Contract Marks?
If you click on an open-world dungeon and then on “Monster Information” you can view the various monsters and their loot. Here are some important items you can obtain:
- Equipment
- Materials for crafting equipment
- Growth Stones
- Lithographs
- Crystals: Rubix, Marind, Emeret, Stalon
- Ores: Rubix Ore, Marind Ore, Emeret Ore, Stalon Ore
- Abyss Aggregate
- Polished Crystal
- Sollant
- Experience Points
Farming Abyss Contract Marks
Abyss Contract Marks can be farmed in the game through many possibilities:
- Coop dungeons
- Daily tasks from the “Contract Manager”
- Weekly “Contract Sheets of the Allied Forces” from the “General Store Merchant”
- Amitoi Expedition
- Completing the main story
- Side quests
- The paid version of the Battle Pass
It is advisable to farm Abyss Contract Marks through daily tasks, as you should complete these anyway. Alternatively, you can also conquer the lower-level coop dungeons alone to quickly obtain Abyss Contract Marks there.
