The fight against Shaikal can become very chaotic, as he places many effects on the ground. It becomes particularly treacherous when Shaikal divides the battlefield into three parts. The yellow glowing space dividers deal a lot of damage and can stun players. You can only get rid of these by interacting with the objects at the edge of the barrier. The Mechanics of Shaikal
The level-50 co-op dungeon boss does not have a special mechanic like some other bosses. However, the fight can still become quite confusing as he can split the arena with glowing yellow walls. You must not touch them; otherwise, you will take damage and be stunned.
However, you can tear down the walls by interacting with the objects at the barrier. This is also necessary for one of Shaikal’s attacks; otherwise, the whole group can be hit.
Dark Nova
The fight with Shaikal always starts with Dark Nova. The boss raises his tentacles and floats slightly into the air. After that, he attacks you with dark matter. However, you can parry this attack by blocking.
To block correctly, you need to time it when the large purple circle is getting smaller and touches the inner purple circle. If you manage a perfect block, you can then attack with an extra ability on the same button.
Purple Portals
During the fight, the monster places two dark, purple zones under two of the players. To avoid this attack, the easiest solution is to move away from the zones, as they do not follow you.
Red Sphere
When Shaikal turns red, he marks a player with a red sphere, which soon disappears. This player should remove themselves from the group as far as possible. Because after a short time, a large area attack opens up that sucks in everything nearby and deals damage. The marked player should also move away from the circle on the ground.
Monster Breath
As soon as Shaikal starts to suck in air, turquoise and yellow lights fly around him, and a player is marked with a purple sphere above their head. When this happens, the others need to run to the edges of the yellow glowing barriers to interact with the objects at the end. This will tear down the stunning walls, and the members can evade.
However, the marked player will get the monster breath from Shaikal, which follows them everywhere. Therefore, it would not be good if they run to their teammates.
