What are the requirements for participating in the raid? Cornelius is one of the open world bosses of Throne and Liberty that you can challenge daily at specific times. Cornelius appears in the third floor (E3) of the Abyss dungeon Abyss of Syleus and possesses monster level 50.
When the event starts, a dimensional passage opens that brings you directly to the boss. This passage lasts for five minutes. Five minutes after the event starts, the boss appears, and the fight begins. Alternatively, guilds that have reached level 16 can also challenge the boss through their guild hall.

Loot from Cornelius
What rewards await? If your contribution in the fight is high enough, you have a chance to receive one of the following loot items:
- Regenerating Blade of Cornelius: Epic sword plus shield
- Gauntlets of the Whirling Essence: Epic cloth gloves
- Attire of the Divine Judge: Epic cloth chest armor
- Amulet of Abyssal Grace: Epic bracelet with a chance for bindings and increased mana cost efficiency
Additionally, there are some rare (blue) loot items and the Amitoi Obsidian Knight Bone III. However, you will not need any luck for the guaranteed chest with prizes for participating in the fight. It contains high-quality recovery crystals, noble polished crystals, rare Marinder ores, a special medal of resistance, and a bundle with 1,000 Stellarit.
Fight against Cornelius
How do you defeat Cornelius? In the fight against Cornelius, several mechanics await you that you need to pay attention to.
- The combat area is surrounded by a blue barrier that does not allow you to leave. However, if you perish, you can hover over the barrier from the high resurrection point to re-enter the fight.
- Cornelius uses a Fury attack that causes area damage. You can avoid the damage with a well-timed block.
- From time to time, Cornelius marks random players with a blue sword symbol. Blue circles appear shortly afterward beneath them, growing larger and then exploding. All marked players must immediately switch to their beast form and execute the mechanic from the raid.
- Regularly, Cornelius also marks many random players with a red crown symbol. They cause damage around them and must therefore spread out across the area to ensure that no one dies.
- Finally, Cornelius executes a multi-strike as a ranged attack that radiates out in five directions. Position yourself between the five lines to avoid the multi-strikes.
