Join a guild as early as possible
Find a guild in Throne and Liberty as early as possible, even if you are not interested in guild activities such as castle sieges. As part of a community, you gain access to a special guild merchant and regular rewards through activities mastered by your guild.
It may be worth dismantling epic skill books
If you have chosen a selection of skills and identified some particularly strong abilities, you may consider maxing out these core skills of your rotation immediately. However, the skill upgrades at epic level will cost you a lot of purple books.
Even a single purple book grants you ten blue books through dismantling, which can then also be dismantled into ten green books each.
So, if you have the option of investing five epic books in a single skill or instead putting up to 50 blue or up to 500 green books into the upgrade of various abilities, the latter will significantly impact the strength of your character.

Upgrades through the lithography book
In the lithography book, you can exchange specified combinations of equipment parts for other items. These are often materials and lithographies. However, you can often earn upgrades for your equipment setup this way – for example, a strong blue ring, for which you only need to craft the four green standard rings.
There are also blue and epic weapons and armor there. So check the lithography book first to see if there is a reward available to form the basis of your equipment setup before you spend a lot of Luzent at the auction house or wear green gear that is still at maximum level.

Keep an eye on the lithography book
If you have two versions of an equipment piece in your inventory, you might quickly come up with the idea of adding one of them to the lithography book. However, if you click on “Add all”, you won’t know which of the two items the system will pick. With a little bad luck, the version you actually wanted to keep might disappear.
You can prevent this by clicking on the respective item and selecting the “Lock” option in the selection menu at the bottom left. Equipped items are automatically locked, as are all items in your storage.
Check each equipment piece before discarding it
As a supplement to tip number 9, we advise you to check each equipment piece before packing it into the lithography book, dismantling it, or selling it. Pay special attention to the properties of the item.
If an equipment piece has a useful or valuable property, it may be much more worthwhile to extract the trait and either use it yourself or sell it for Luzent at the auction house.
