The final release of Throne and Liberty is approaching. As soon as the launch servers go online, many new adventurers will flock to Solisium. If you belong to this group, you will find all kinds of information and recommendations here that we wish we had known before the launch.
When exactly is the final release? According to Amazon Games (via X), the launch servers are set to go online on October 1, 2024, at 7:00 PM our time. Please note that everyone starting without an early access package will be placed on new servers. There will be no early access characters there that already have several days of head start.
Various editors and authors from MeinMMO have already spent many hours with Throne and Liberty and have gathered a number of large and small info nuggets that they wish they had known before the launch. To help you avoid potential mistakes or lengthy searches, we summarize our recommendations below.
Don’t wait too long to find a guild!
Upgrading equipment correctly
We already revealed how you can save a lot of Luzent when upgrading equipment. Here’s a reminder that you should definitely not blindly exchange a green piece of equipment for a blue one, or a blue for an epic one, just to upgrade it from level 1. This way, you waste valuable upgrade materials.
It is much more efficient to patiently work your way up from green to blue to purple: First, bring a green piece of your choice to level 6, then transfer it to your desired blue upgrade (which will then be at level 3). After that, bring the blue equipment piece to its maximum level of 9, just to then transfer those upgrades to the epic counterpart (which will then have level 6).
Watch out for items with expiration dates
Some items from Throne and Liberty will come with an expiration date in your inventory. Training Tau, which increases your mastery of the equipped weapon, will disappear after 24 hours if you do not use the item. So make sure to activate these rewards before they vanish.
World Tree Leaves and Stellarit
In Throne and Liberty, there are consumable items that you need in large quantities. On the one hand, World Tree Leaves, which you use to pay for the healing of your Amitoi companion, and on the other hand, Stellarit, which is automatically used in combat to increase your weapon damage.
The latter may just be a nice bonus especially in the leveling phase. However, the lack of World Tree Leaves can cost you your virtual life. So keep an eye on the counter in the skill bar and buy supplies early!
Pay attention to daily and weekly resets
Various content from Throne and Liberty only takes place at certain times. You can find exact schedules for events, castle sieges, ore bosses, field bosses, blessing stones, and rift stones here.
Alternatively, open the map with the shortcut “M” and go to the fourth tab on the left: “Schedule”. There, you will find an overview of upcoming events and the option to set an alarm for exciting content that you absolutely do not want to miss.
Timing is also important with merchants, many of whom sell many of their goods only in limited quantities per day. Especially when it comes to important consumables or materials, it can be worth checking in daily with the merchant – so you have what you need when you need items in large quantities (and are not held back by the limited merchant offers).
We also recommend regularly buying Mystical Keys (note the expiration date of seven days!) from contract coin merchants, or the highly limited fishing bait chests for ambitious anglers.
Do not waste Abyss Contract Marks and Contracts
With contract managers, you can stock up on contracts – these are quite simple quests that promise different rewards such as XP, Sollant, Training Tau, jewels, Abyss Contract Marks points, and much more.
You can take on five contracts at a time. Each accepted contract consumes one contract right. Important:
- you gain ten contract rights every day
- you can stack up to 69 contract rights (59 accumulated plus the ten new rights of the new day)
It may be worth tackling individual contracts during the leveling phase to fill the gap until the next campaign quest or to prevent yourself from hitting the maximum of contract rights and thus wasting further contract rights.
At the same time, you should hold back as many contracts as possible for the end of the leveling phase or the level 50 time. On the one hand, you will likely encounter a significant XP gap before level 50 until the next story task. On the other hand, high-level contracts provide the best possible rewards.
