The Division: Heartland is a project in the dusty Division universe. It was supposed that the cover shooter would have been on the market by now, but there has been eternal silence from developer Ubisoft. At the “Ubisoft Forward” there should be new information about the game. If you’re interested in testing Heartland yourself, you’ll find the most important information here.
How can I participate in the testing? Since the announcement of Division: Heartland, developer Ubisoft has been inviting players to game tests. There is no guarantee that you will be selected, but if you want to have a chance, check here:

When will Heartland be released? The release was originally planned for late 2021 or early 2022. However, after a delay, it has been quiet about the title for a long time, except for leaks. At the “Ubisoft Forward” there should finally be new information about the game (via twitter.com).

What kind of game is Heartland? Officially, we know very little about the shooter. Compared to the main games Division 1 and 2, it is more of a “lobby shooter” with shorter matches and fewer MMO elements. Even though everything is heading towards multiplayer.
According to earlier leaks, you should be able to craft items, the class system (specialists) remains intact, and there should be survival aspects. Loot also plays a role and is supposed to be valuable even beyond individual matches. However, all this information comes from early, leaked alpha gameplay.
In addition, there will probably be several game modes, all with a different focus. Some more on cooperative PvE, others bring the PvP element into play and resemble the Dark Zone a bit. This is a PvEvP mode and one of the reasons why Division was able to distinguish itself from its competitors.
Currently, everything looks like they want to pack the gameplay of the Division series into a slimmed-down, more digestible environment. Instead of leveling up and collecting equipment for many hours, you will likely be able to jump right into Heartland and experience the gameplay.
The Division series experienced a drastic decline, but is far from over. Division 2 has recently started bringing back new content and was able to regain some players with an exciting cliffhanger.
In addition, there are currently at least 2 games in the Division universe that could celebrate their release this year or next.
