Minecraft, but only in the colors of MS Paint? It’s possible – and it looks better than you might think.
Anyone trying their hand at digital image editing has a multitude of options to choose from. Very few would say after considering their options: “Well, Microsoft Paint is enough for me.” However, that’s exactly what the Minecraft player “Stridey” did and painted the entire world of Minecraft.
What happened? Texture packs, also called “Texture Packs” or “Resource Packs,” are as numerous as sand on the beach in Minecraft. We have already introduced you to the 7 most exciting ones in this article. However, the player Stridey set himself a special task and created a texture pack entirely in Paint.
And correspondingly, the graphics look as such. Everything is a bit sillier, has a comic look, and uses fewer colors. After all, Paint has only 20 colors available as default, and only these were used.
The result is better than planned: Stridey admits in the comments that the whole project actually started as a “meme.” Gradually, however, he found more enjoyment in it and took the thing more seriously. The result is certainly impressive – because the world of Minecraft has probably never looked so cute.
Especially the faces of the various creatures receive a lot of praise and are often described as cute and unique.
