In The Division 2 there is a secret room that contains a funny Easter egg. We show you how to open it. Unfortunately, some fans still can’t get in.
What Easter egg is it about? You can find the Easter egg in the mission Space Administration HQ. There is a secret room that can only be opened with the right code.
In there, you will find a cool homage to a fantasy series, and there are hints of a conspiracy theory beforehand.
Spoiler warning: If you prefer to solve such puzzles alone and be surprised, you should not continue reading.

Secret Room with Discworld Turtle?
What you find there: In the room, you won’t find any special rewards in the form of loot. However, you will find a reference to Terry Pratchett’s Discworld.
You see a turtle with four elephants standing on its back. On these, a flat image of the Earth rests, a pretty clear allusion to Pratchett’s Discworld.
What is Discworld? It is the setting of several fantasy novels by the English author. It is full of magic and sorcery.
Apparently, Massive also sees the theory to be discussed next in the realm of fantasy. Because before you can open the room, you have to deal with a conspiracy theory.
Find the Code of the Flat Earthers
This is how to find the code for the Easter egg: To open the secret room, you must follow several steps. The hunt for the room starts in a kind of entrance hall with several floors:
- Once you arrive at the top, walk straight through the hallway to the back
- There you will find a computer that you can activate
- Next, you need to find the code for the door
The desired code is hidden in one of the pictures you can find at printers. To have them printed, you need to activate the printer. There are several spread out in the entrance hall.

You can skip this step if you already know the codes. Further down, we have listed some for you.
Continue playing the mission until you overcome the section on the roof with aligning the satellite dishes.
Enter the building, rappel down the elevator shaft, and go left. There you can now open a door.

This is how you open the secret room: Once you have opened this door, you are still not in the secret room. You will find 4 computers.
Next to each computer lies one or more parts of a gear suit. The number of parts determines which computer corresponds to which digit of the code.
Next to computer 1 lies one part, next to computer 2 two parts, next to computer 3 three parts, and next to computer 4 is a block with the number 4.
One of these codes should open the room:
- 1-2-2-4
- 1-4-1-2
- 2-1-2-2
- 2-1-2-2
- 3-1-2-3
- 2-1-2-2
- 2-2-2-2
Activate the computers now according to the code in order. Now the secret room will open and you can observe the Discworld of The Division 2. However, there seem to be problems.

Apparently, the door is bugged
What is the problem? Although the room has been known for a while, it keeps being rediscovered by players who were not aware of it. However, many fans report in the Subreddit of The Division 2 that they have issues entering the room.
The door may stand open, but you still cannot enter it. An invisible wall is in the way. However, there seem to be some ways to get through.
These things might help:
- Shoot the fire extinguisher next to the door
- Throw grenades
- Rolling seems to work from specific angles
For some, none of the codes seem to work. The Easter egg is probably still a bit bugged.
Easter egg mocks “Flat Earthers”
This is what it’s about: Besides Discworld, the Easter egg also contains references to one of the most well-known conspiracy theories. You can find them in the pictures at other printers. Like this one with the inscription “The flat Earth theory”:

The flat earth theory is considered one of the most widespread conspiracy theories.
According to the “Flat Earthers”, the Earth is a flat disc and not a round planet.
This video also shows how to open the room:
Have you already found the room? What do you think of the Easter egg?
