Season 4 of PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) is starting soon. With Patch 4.1, PUBG has now released the patch notes and shows how the map Erangel is visually changing.
What does Season 4 bring? With the new Season 4, PUBG players are presented with some changes in the game. Visual changes on the Erangel map are expected. This is the map that has been in the game since PUBG started.
For many players, it is a welcome change to finally see the popular map in a new light. However, there are also some players who were concerned by the announcement of the Erangel rework.

Why are there changes? Through the update, PUBG aims to visually adjust its Erangel map to feel current. However, the “Erangel magic” should not be lost.

Terrain and various structures have been updated. Additionally, some places have had more buildings added.
To better represent the story of Erangel, objects such as abandoned tanks, nets, or ditches have been added to the map.
In some stand-off sections, you will now find barriers and fortifications. Players praise that there are now finally more options to find shelter from enemies on the beach.

Healing and Boosts now while Running: You can now heal or provide boosts while moving. The speed will be limited to walking.
Better Aiming with Crossbow: The crossbow now has a visible indicator that shows the trajectory of the bolt to aim more easily.
Rate of Fire and FPS: A few months ago, it was noted that the rate of fire of some weapons depends on the FPS of the system being played on. The weapon’s rate of fire is now supposed to be less dependent on the FPS and even consistent at low FPS.
