During the presentation of the new iPhone XS, Bethesda’s Game Director Todd Howard took the stage and delivered a keynote about his new mobile game The Elder Scrolls Blades. According to Howard, the game is perfectly suited for the new Apple smartphone.
What did Todd Howard say? In his keynote, Howard praised the strong processing power of Apple’s new flagship smartphone, the iPhone XS. With this powerful machine, it is easily possible to offer excellent graphics and processing power for games.
Blades is ideal for the new iPhone: Especially the new mobile game The Elder Scrolls Blades would greatly benefit from the technical possibilities. This applies particularly to light effects, post-processing, and control. It would also be possible to enable stereo sound without headphones.
How the new iPhone harmonizes with Blades can be seen in the video here from the keynote.
What do you think? Are powerful smartphones like the iPhone XS or the Samsung Note 9 now a serious competition for consoles and PCs?
