In Fortnite: Battle Royale the first challenge of the “14 Days of Fortnite” event has started today. Here you will learn everything about the new task, the loot, and why you need the Creative mode for it.
What is 14 Days of Fortnite? This is the big Christmas event in Fortnite from Update 7.10, where new game modes and challenges appear every day. So it’s a kind of Advent calendar for Fortnite fans.
What is the first task? Today, on December 19, the first of these challenges started. You need to create a server in Creative mode or join one. What’s the deal with that?
How to complete the 1st challenge in Fortnite’s Creative mode
The wording of the task is: Open a Creative mode server or join one.
It sounds more complicated than it is. Because you really just need to start a match in Creative mode by clicking the large button at the bottom right.
Alternatively, you can also join a server of your friends or any players. A good idea might be a server where the newly introduced new location Grimy Greens can be seen. This location was created in Creative mode and can also be viewed there.
Once you have entered the server, you can log out again and you will receive your reward.
Help, nothing happens when I click the button! Patience, young Padawan. As a warning already indicates, Fortnite’s servers are currently a bit overloaded. Therefore, there may be longer wait times and issues. In our editorial office, it worked after a few minutes, so stay persistent.
What do I get for all this work? The reward from the 1st challenge of 14 Days of Fortnite is a spray paint with a Christmas ornament. It also says “GG” on it.
I want to grab more stuff! Then log back in tomorrow afternoon and see what the 2nd challenge has in store.
Otherwise, you can also try your hand at the tasks from week 2:
