The mobile game LoL Wild Rift has started its beta and reveals its plans for the coming weeks and the year 2021. Find out here what the developers have planned with new champions, skins, and content.
What is LoL: Wild Rift? This is the mobile game of League of Legends. You can now easily jump into the Summoner’s Rift on Android and iOS and compete with familiar champions like Blitzcrank, Jinx, or Garen.

There are already first teasers about which champions will be released soon. And yes, Teemo plays an important role in this.
What happens next
The Noxus event: In Wild Rift, the event about the brothers from Noxus started on December 10. Some of the content has already been released. Others will follow during the event.
This event runs until December 23 at 01:00 AM German time and brings the following content:
- A large selection of missions in which you earn Blue Essence and pages from the exclusive comic “Brothers”.
- Porom coins, stickers, symbol frames
In the shop:
- The champions Darius and Draven
- The skins High Noon Darius, Academy Darius, Commentator Draven, Soul Reaper Draven
- Package for Darius with 50% discount, Academy Darius and High Noon Darius
- Packages for Draven with 50% discount, Soul Reaper Draven and Commentator Draven
New champions: Draven and Darius are already available in the game. Later this month, the monkey Wukong will also join.
New skins: In the video, Christina Wun also presents the skins that are coming for Wild Rift. These include Queen Ashe, Steel Legion Garen, and Volcano Wukong.
In January 2021, this is how it continues
Collaboration with PC: In the upcoming year 2021, the Wild Rift team aims to work with the PC version team on simultaneous events, announcements, and themes. There isn’t much to say yet, but they plan to announce more details in January.
Season 1: The first official season of Wild Rift will start in January 2021.
New champions: In “a few weeks”, the Wild Rift team plans to bring “a few of the most famous champions from League of Legends” to Wild Rift. At the same time, they will launch the largest event to date.
They are looking forward to Teemo “and a few of his friends”.
