In Fallout 76 there are always quirky scenes and players with crazy ideas. However, this could easily land among the top 3 strangest things. A player has built a catapult… for Brahmin.
What kind of catapult is this? The reddit user Vault101manguy has constructed a kind of launching device for Brahmin. Brahmin are mutated cows with two heads. The user describes his creation as follows:
Suitable for siege battles, the Brahmin launcher costs only one unit of blade corn per attack. It has an effective range of pretty much far, if the wind is right. Devilish in approach, the Brahmin launcher lets psychological warfare rain down from above.
In a short video, he shows how his catapult works. A Brahmin stands on some traps that he has placed high up in his C.A.M.P. He kills it with a rolling pin and then activates a switch that triggers the traps.
He is wearing a dress and a tin foil hat. Why exactly, we do not know, but it adds an absurd flair to the whole scene that completes it.
How does the catapult work? Vault101manguy has built the appropriate spike traps right in front of a Brahmin pen for his catapult.
The pen is a recipe that can be bought from the vendor in Harper’s Ferry. Once you set up the pen, a Brahmin eats from a pile of blade corn and produces… well, dung. Or you can milk it. Or just kill it.
The corpse behaves like an object with physics in the world. Since it lies directly on the traps placed beneath, they only need to be activated and the corpse will fly. The repair costs only one unit of blade corn and some scrap afterwards.
How does one come up with such an idea? The inspiration for his Brahmin catapult likely comes from the corpse catapult of the raiders. The user is, however, already known for his creativity.
Vault 101manguy recently presented his trap labyrinth with deathclaw. Previously, he built other traps for players like a player oven and a cultist church, which he uses to lure players to their doom.
Other players from our community also show that a lot can be achieved with a bit of interest. Our user Philipp Bungenberg has built his own pub in Fallout 76.
