Warframe – Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC

In Warframe, you play as one of the so-called Tenno who can utilize various combat suits with different abilities. After centuries in cryosleep, you wake up to maintain peace and order in the solar system. In addition to instanced missions, Warframe also offers an open world with the Plains of Eidolon, where you can fight the eponymous Eidolons, complete quests, or even go fishing.
You go into battle with one of the currently 35 Warframes and a variety of weapons – including swords, daggers, or heavy guns. There are also outdoor missions in space and the breeding of strange space dogs or cats.
Warframe is for you if you are into Power Rangers
The Power Rangers are teenagers who can “morph” into their own combat suits to fight various monsters. Each Ranger uses a special weapon and a Zord, a giant combat robot that can unite with the other Rangers’ robots to form a Mega Zord.
The series has been produced since 1993 and has now produced 24 seasons and three movies.
Why is Warframe like Power Rangers?
Of course, the comparison is somewhat tenuous since the Tenno in Warframe do not hop around in giant combat robots. Still, the community often draws the comparison to the Power Rangers.
Let’s play out this thought: Both the Tenno in Warframe and the Power Rangers appear in colorful suits that their “owners” wear. Both are guided by a mentor: “Space Mom” Lotus in Warframe and Zordon in the Rangers.
However, while the Power Rangers travel in their giant Zords, Tenno comfortably travel in their Orbiter, a spaceship.
While the comparison of Warframe with the Power Rangers may seem strange, the players themselves consistently make such comparisons, e.g., in the Warframe subreddit. Or they reenact the Rangers-in-Space opening with their Warframes.
