In the lead-up to the upcoming Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2, Bungie has now released some impressive statistics regarding the Guardians’ performances during Season 3.
Season 3 isn’t over yet, but already fans have achieved remarkable feats in the 77 days since the release of the Warmind DLC. With just under a month before the Forsaken expansion is released, Bungie gives a glimpse into some surreal numbers.

These insane achievements are credited to the Guardian community
The most important point first: According to Bungie, Guardians have dismantled 807,635,124 shaders since the start of Season 3. Assuming it takes about one second to delete a shader, fans have spent a total of approximately 25.6 years on this “endgame activity.” A remarkable feat, considering that each shader has to be deleted individually.
Whisper of the Worm: The secret quest surrounding this new sniper has mobilized large parts of the community – with success. The mystery surrounding the exotic sniper rifle was solved relatively quickly in a massive joint effort. Already, 194,051 players proudly own the Whisper of the Worm.
A true rarity: The Redrix’s Claymore, which is rewarded for reaching the fourth of six tiers in the competitive glory ranking, remains a true exotic, even as a legendary weapon. Only 8,750 players can currently claim this firearm as their own.
The Dead Orbit has the most diligent followers: Dead Orbit not only won the first group battle of Season 3 decisively – it apparently also has the most industrious following of all three factions. Throughout Season 3, a total of 33,015,114 Dead Orbit engrams were decrypted, followed by 20,576,204 Crucible engrams and 18,771,223 New Monarchy engrams.
